The Byron Bay Train is a solar train in Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia. A 600 class railcar (originally built in 1949) was converted to solar power. It's believed to be the world first solar train. It operates between North Beach station and Byron Beach station, using a 3 km section of the disused Casino - Murwillumbah line.
