Wervik

Wervik station is a railway station along railway line 69 (Kortrijk-Poperinge) in the city of Wervik, Belgium. On January 15, 1853 the first train passed through Wervik. The first station building was badly damaged during the First World War. The current station building dates from 1924 and is of the reconstruction type in brick with natural stone façade elements. It was completely renovated in 2001 and placed on the list of protected monuments.
